- Social media is not a replacement for other marketing, but it is another set of powerful and cost-effective tools that should be integrated in a larger marketing plans.
- Social media tactics, messages/calls-to-action and targets must be understood (we believe through the use of analytics) before social media marketing campaigns are deployed to ensure effectiveness.
Smart move by REI. It makes a lot of sense and will crate more and better engagement by their followers. It’s good to see social media marketers becoming more sophisticated (and investing more resources into social media and community marketing).
Nicely put together basic starter kit..but you will need a social media expert to help you navigate through this and create a strategy.
