Eventbrite has a great new study out about the value of a “share” on various social networks for an event. This blog post highlights the key findings. Not surprisingly, Facebook shows the highest value but email is close behind.
A great case study from ticketing company Eventbrite which shows the relative values of a shared ticketed event link on Twitter ($.043), LinkedIn ($.90), email ($2.34) and Facebook ($2.52). We love that they took the time to calculate these ROI’s….and are sharing them publicly.
The article from eMarketer this chart was taken from has some interesting statistics about men’s participation in various social media outlets by age group. Good to see that older men are increasing their social media usage!
This cool Venn diagram shows how consumers are receiving brand messages in overlapped vs. silo’ed manner. The rest of the article is here (warning: this is eMarketer so the link will stop working after a while and the article will have to be purchased).
Not really surprising but still worth noting: for teens, SMS > email > Facebook.
