Simple but cool analytical tool from Wildfire
This new dashboard tool from Wildfire, called Monitor, compares up to 3 Facebook Pages or Twitter profiles on a simple measure: number of followers.  But the interface is nice and the controls allow the manipulation of the graphics in a very easy, user-friendly manner.

“Out of the 10 biggest Twitter accounts, 5 are musical artists (Gaga, Spears,...”
– Source: twitaholic.  Also: Of the 10 most re-tweeted (RT) messages in 2010, 8 were from artists (source: Twitter’s year-end recap).  This article sums it up well: where are the music startups on Twitter, besides Rdio? The Twitterverse is ripe for it as the stats show.

Lance Armstrong's Twitter powers aid Radio Shack →
Another classic case of the case study without any meaningful numbers (or in this case, any numbers at all): Lance Armstrong’s tweets for RadioShack creating a “lift” in sales.  This is great news but unsubstantiated and with no ROI.  Numbers please!
